The beloved restaurant has announced plans to stay at its current location at 3800 Rainier Ave. S. until April 2013, according to Rainier Valley Post. The closure is due to Safeway building a new gas station in the space.In other news, My Ballard reports that Larsen’s Danish Bakery at 8000 24th Ave. N.W. is taking over the former Wild Orchid space directly north of them and transforming it into a larger production site. The retail space will later be revamped as well.
