Adventurous eaters celebrated Saint Gratus, patron saint of entomophobia (insect fear), with a bug banquet by The Bug Chef, David George Gordon, at CafAc Racer last night. The four-course meal featured grasshopper kabobs, a cricket-and-pasta salad, bug juice and other exotic treats. Gordon, the Bug Chef, is the author of The Eat-a-Bug Cookbook and dad to Seattle Weekly music writer Julia Mullen Gordon. You have to wonder what their family dinners are like.Photos by Emma McGraw.Published on September 8, 2011
