1. An expanded Monsoon will reopen soon on Capitol Hill’s 19th Ave E, reports the Capitol Hill Seattle blog. Owner Eric Banh is also hard at work on a project at 1305 E. Jefferson, though details are few.
2. Two-week old Parlor Live Seattle, a comedy club, restaurant and bar, has added a happy hour. The extensive menu lists more than 25 items at half price and 35 drink specials; it’s available daily from 3 to 7 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to close Sunday through Thursday.
3. The Triple Door has an updated happy hour menu, with new $3 bites and $5 snacks including taro chips, spiced nuts, chicken sliders, and honey garlic riblets. Bartenders are mixing drinks from the winners of March’s Mix Madness Cocktail Competition, too: the Georgia Peach (with lychee-infused vodka) and Lavender Dreams (with gin and sparkling wine).
4. Greenpeace has launched a new sustainable seafood website aimed at helping conscientious consumers shop with their grocery shopping. The site ranks grocers’ according to their seafood buying practices and helps shoppers make better decisions on buying sustainable fish.
