Seattle Police say a man intent on "harming himself" jumped naked into Green Lake early this morning. Apparently, the man can't swim - which is one of the ways jumping naked into Green Lake can become harmful. The good news is police located the man clinging to a dock and were able to pull him to safety.
At about 3:30 this morning, a witness called 911 to report there was a naked man in the water clinging to a dock in Green Lake. Officers were in the area and arrived quickly. One officer made contact with the man, who informed him that he had been in the water for about half an hour and could not swim. Additional officers arrived and the man was safely pulled up on to the dock. He told officers that he had been attempting to harm himself. The man was transported to the hospital by Seattle Fire Medics.
