The 12th Man is hurting after the Seahawks devastating loss in Atlanta yesterday. The pain is everywhere, even evident in the pockmarked face of former KOMO pundit Ken Schram.
Yes, while Schram may be gone from the KOMO airwaves, he's still got an opinion. And, like nearly everyone, he's got a Facebook account too - which in the aftermath of yesterday's playoff loss gave the longtime Seattle newsman a venue to vent his frustrations.
Known for his infamous "Schrammie" awards, the former KOMO personality says that's exactly what Seahawks coach Pete Carroll deserves for blowing yesterday's game in Atlanta.
It was a game the Hawks could have won. Worse, it was a game they should have won.
4th and 1 - TAKE THE DAMN FIELD GOAL!!!
How did the defense let :28 seconds turn into such a mess.
If I was still doing "Schrammies", Pete Carol would have one on his desk!
Still and all: A great, exciting, fun season.
Destiny is calling.
Best wishes to all!!
In times like these, everyone's an armchair coach - even Schram. And while it's hard to picture the former host of Town Meeting roaming the sidelines with any effectiveness, in this instance at least - he may have at least a small point.
