It would be hard to blame comedian Katt Williams if he never wanted to come back to Seattle. He hasn't exactly had good times here, at least lately. And, according to TMZ and the Seattle Times, Williams apparently decided not to come back to Seattle today - where he was scheduled to be arraigned on three misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault.
Because of Williams' failure to appear in Seattle Municipal Court today, a judge issued two arrest warrants against the troubled comedian, despite the fact his lawyer claims a medical condition prevented Williams from flying to Seattle for the scheduled arraignment - which had already been rescheduled once.
Williams' attorney, Thomas McAllister, told the judge Williams' management called him at 6:30 this morning and said some sort of medical issue prevented the comedian from flying to Seattle for the arraignment. The judge found probable cause to hold Williams on three misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault stemming from two incidents in Seattle a week and a half ago.
The judge also wants more details on Williams' medical condition.
No word on whether Williams' medical condition has anything to do with being allergic to Seattle.
