If you spent anytime at the Skrillex concert at Bumbershoot - RIGHT ON TIME!!! - you probably heard a lot of the tech-savvy teens abuzz about the newest phone that's going to be coming out this month, the iPhone 5 the Windows 8 powered Nokia Lumina.
The Seattle Times reports that Microsoft and Nokia are planning to unveil their latest piece of genericgame-changing technology today at one of the now famous events. Here are a few things you can expect out of the spectacle.
1. A packed conference room at the Holiday Inn - Everett:
Windows phone unveilings are cultural events for many, and be sure that Microsoft will pack a conference room at the Holiday Inn, perhaps even forcing people to stand in the back if more than 50 people show up.
2. Long lines at the Windows Store (pictured)
The only thing more exciting that seeing a new Windows phone is being able to own one. That's why you can expect a score of people to line up outside the Windows store, er Radioshack.
3. Another round of Bill Gates love
Every time Windows shows us the way of the future, adoration is poured onto Bill Gates, aka the Sun God. No longer involved in day-to-day management at Microsoft, Gates still serves as a symbol of an uncompromising drive to be the best - nay, only - technology company in the world.
4. Built in Bing!
Who ISN'T using Bing? I can't count how many times I have a question and my wife is just like, "Bing it." This is going to make searching soooo easy.
