For some reason Pete Carroll's head is tiny in the new Madden '13 demo.
Are the Seahawks ready for prime time? At this point it's still too early to tell. But what the team is ready for, at least according to the powers that be at EA Sports, is a feature role in the demo for the Madden NFL '13.
As was noted by Q13 earlier today, Pete Carroll's team will take on the Washington Redskins and new quarterback Robert Griffin III in the game demo, which is scheduled to be released tomorrow. The full version of the popular EA Sports video game won't be released until Aug. 28.
How did the Seahawks get chosen for such a prestigious honor? It's tough to say. It seems certain the team was selected for the demo long before Matt Flynn's electric 11 for 13, one interception performance in the team's preseason opener Saturday, and chances are late additions like Terrell Owens and Braylon Edwards aren't at the root of the decision either. In fact, the only two explanations that make any sense are: a) the minds behind Madden think the Hawks have an up-and-coming team that fans are excited about, or b) the minds behind Madden wanted to give gamers as much time as possible to get acclimated to the Hawks' horrible new uniforms.
