Oh Sweet Jesus: Beer, Liquor and Wine Coming to WSU's Martin Stadium

Mike Leach isn't the only reason Washington State University football fans have to get excited about the coming season. Not only will the Cougars' offense be new and improved, so will the team's concessions at home. Yes, beer, wine and even liquor are coming to WSU's Martin Stadium, with "premium ticket holders" now able to get loaded in style.

In news that's so exciting that it makes Drew Bledsoe want to stage dive at an Everclear concert, the WSU Board of Regents has given the university permission to "safely regulate the sale and consumption of alcohol at public events," according to a story by KREM.com. The student section won't have access to the booze (like that's a problem), but the Cougar fans with fancy seats will.

From KREM:

The first level of the new three floor press box features a food lounge and bar that will sell beer, liquor and wine. Alcohol will not be sold in the student section of Martin Stadium and reportedly will only be accessible to ticket holders with premium seats.

Those without premium seats, just like always, will be forced to get smashed on cheap beer and shitty vodka outside the stadium -- luckily, a skill that's second nature to most Cougar fans.
