As was reported by the Spokesman-Review, fliers for SpokaneSucks.com popped up throughout the city [Wednesday] morning, with the paper describing the site as one that "questions the safety of the City of Spokane and the staffing levels of the Spokane Police Department." The man apparently behind the website, 28-year-old Jared Bartlett of Post Falls, seems to want the website to shed light on Spokane's problems, and possibly even inspire Spokane officials to do something about them.
Many questioned Bartlett's site, not to mention the flyer-happy way he went about promoting it. But some, including commenter fredslocombe, simply wanted to point out that Spokane isn't the only city that sucks.

Cute site. Before one goes into shock and awe accounting of the horrors of Spokane, I suggest Googling other town names followed by the word "sucks" to see what else is out there. I escaped Illinois not only for the weather, but because of www.illinoisisbroke.com accounting of the state's debt crisis. Aside from Chicago draining the rest of the state like a vampire, Springfield, Illinois is no gem either. The previous mayor committed suicide and the previous two governors are serving prison terms. Count your blessings and keep up the good work.
