Meth makes people do the damndest things. A story out of the Spokane Valley today validates that contention, as two people stand accused of flooding a hotel there while high on the drug.
According to the manager of Spokeane's Pheasant Hill Inn, quoted in a piece by KXLY4 News, the flood, which started when the couple allegedly broke off two sprinkler heads inside their room, destroyed the hotel's $2 million renovation project.
The hotel manager said the couple had broken off two sprinkler heads in their hotel room, causing water to spew everywhere. Employees tried to get in the room to stop the water, but the couple had locked themselves inside.
Disregarding the fact that hotel employees, in theory, should be able to unlock doors within their establishment, KXLY4 News reports that all other guests at the Pheasant Hill Inn were evacuated, and once police arrived both alleged meth-users and flood-creators were arrested for malicious mischief.
According to reports the flood reached two-thirds of the hotel.
