Comment of the Day: Liberal Bias Strikes Again

Last week we published what was intended to be a humorous reaction piece to the now-dead Seattle School District proposal to save money by altering school start times and school-bus pickup times - an idea that could have led to school children being forced to catch the bus at completely ungodly hours, and parents being forced to deal with the schedule difficulties that would have presented.

After an outpouring of criticism from Seattle-area parents the plan was scraped.

But that doesn't mean people stopped reading our post, "Five Ideas to Save Seattle Schools Money Better Than Earlier Bus Pickup Times," which inspired commenter Charlie Mas to weigh in.

Mas writes:

It must be your liberal bias that caused you to leave out Newt Gingrich's idea of having the kids do the janitorial work in the schools. You just hate to admit that a Republican beat you to it.

COJones was almost right. But instead of the teachers, it should be the high school students drive the buses. They will work for less and they don't have a union.
