This latest tidbit comes to us courtesy of KOMO news and features two officers joking about how hilarious it is that some guy got hit by a semi truck.
Here's KOMO's video:
The injured man in question is West Seattle resident Tim Nelson, who had followed the city of Seattle's advice during the recent viaduct closure and jogged to work. Unfortunately, on the way, he got hit by a semi truck and nearly died, breaking his back, several ribs and fracturing his skull.
A few members of Seattle's finest showed up to the scene, where they made sure to discuss how much of an idiot the critically-injured man is.
For those that don't want to sit through the entire video, here's the transcript.
Officer #1: "They say he flew up in the air and landed on his noggin."
Officer #2: "Hey, that ain't my problem!"
Officer #1: "That's why you drive a car!"
Officer #2: "Yeah, don't try to jog to work, you dumb fuck!"
Apparently unwilling to let the mocking of an injured resident go unaccompanied, the officers then turn their attention to the driver of the truck who hit the man, who happens to have a thick accent.
Officer #1 (in mocking thick accent): "'I don't know. It uh, hit da truck! I don't know!'"
Officer #2 (in equally-mocking thick accent): "He goes, 'What happen now? I get ticket?'"
Nelson found the video when he hired an attorney to help him determine who was at fault for the accident. He had no idea that while he was clinging to life, officers were clinging to false presumptions and idiotic denouncements.
