On Friday, Caleb Hannan, Seattle Weekly's managing editor, got a wild hair and decided to write something! Hannan, it turns out, is no fan of the "anti-gentrification protest" on Capitol Hill (right by the Ferrari dealership). One reader imagines the nightmare scenario pushed by this rogue scribe.
It would be horrible if this development happened and hundreds of architects, construction workers, facility people, maintenance workers, etc., were to get jobs working on it. Or if hundreds of people moved in and patronized nearby businesses and restaurants and bars, thus providing more opportunities.
Better that this useless building sit there empty as the neighborhood withers away. Yes, much better.
