Forget to turn your cell phone off during a movie and you're likely to get popcorn thrown at you. Forget to turn off your cell phone during a Ben Stiller movie and I WILL CHOKE YOU.
Or so says some guy at Ballard's Majestic Bay Theatre.
The Ballard News-Tribunereports that twice during a screening of Oscar-assured comedy Tower Heist, a man's phone went off, eventually sending a nearby cinema patron into a violent rage.
When the suspect returned to his seat the second time, he grabbed the victim's throat with both hands. The victim stated that he couldn't breathe and tried to pull his attacker's hands off him. The attack lasted for about 30 seconds and the suspect
subsequently grabbed his backpack from his seat and left the theater.
Apparently police located the perp via a phone number given to them by the theater.
Rumor has it that the suspect is being subjected to marathon screenings of Along Came Polly and Envy.
