Two pieces of Amanda Knox-related news to report this morning--one more gosspiy than the other.
First we have Raffaele Sollecito, Amanda Knox's ex-boyfriend, giving his first real interview since his release from Italian prison. In the interview Sollecito says he doesn't talk to Knox anymore, but that her wishes her "all the happiness in the world."
Sollecito had been quoted in Italian tabloid Oggi saying that he and Knox "talk and write every day" and that he was planning a trip to visit her in Seattle soon.
Turned out that report was a "lie" as Sollecito said immediately that he does not talk to Knox anymore, has no plans to visit her, and in fact never talked to the reporter who penned the story (or any reporter, for that matter).
So it would appear that this interview, unless Sollecito is actually an expertly-crafted android, is legitimate.
As you see, Sollecito makes it clear that the couple's brief romance is indeed over. Amazing how a multi-year stint spent locked up on false charges can be such a mood killer.
The second piece of news is a little more TMZ-ish, but considering Sollecito is saying the love flame has died, these photos of Knox with a new beanie/headphone-sporting beau will further put a nail in that coffin.
The UK's Mirror provided the expert analysis that "the body language between the pair suggested that they were more than just good friends."
Thesef pics come a few days after the paparazzi spotted Knox in a Halloween costume and prompted murder victim Meredith Kercher's father to call Knox "insensitive" for wearing a costume on the fourth anniversary of his daughter's death--because Knox obviously should spend the remainder of her public life in a joyless state of mourning.
