The 2011 Vancouver Hockey Riots, a.k.a. the Largest Crime that Facebook Ever Solved, is soon to finally move to a court room--make that several dozen court rooms if possible.

CNN reports that Vancouver Police Chief Jim Chu says he is recommending 163 charges against 60 alleged rioters immediately and that he says "hundreds" will eventually be charged.

"This is just the beginning as we expect to announce more arrests in the weeks and months ahead," he said.

Among the 60 suspected rioters are 50 men and 10 women. The top three most common charges being recommended are: participating in a riot, mischief and break and enter, police said.

Chu's long working theory has been that the riot was the work of a small group of "anarchists" and thugs, as opposed to good, wholesome (albeit slightly upset and likely inebriated) hockey fans.
