In the video, an overweight woman in a white blouse leads a yelping Siberian Husky to a waiting SUV. She taps on the window and then shoves the dog inside when the door opens.
The dog, Takoda, isn't hers.
And for 10 days, her real owners have been searching for her.
But Takoda is home now.
The Everett Heraldreports that the dog was brought back to the police station by . . . well . . . someone. She's now back with her family.
Here's where it gets weird, though. The dog was dropped off at the Marysville police station, that much is clear. But who dropped her off isn't. Apparently a lawyer representing whoever took her is in talks with local prosecutors in hopes of avoiding charges.
Supposedly this mystery dog thief will be revealed eventually.
