Top of the morning, folks! Today's COTD wins not only for the question it throws at you, but for the answer it stomps your face with.
Yesterday, swooping news falcon Keegan Hamilton reported a story out of my old stomping grounds of Santa Cruz, Calif. that involves outlaw biker gangs the Hells Angels and the Vagos.
According to police in the town, the gangs have declared all-out war based upon territory encroachment at the local Starbucks. "Only in Santa Cruz would you have biker wars over who's going to control pumpkin spice lattes," says Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark.
Hamilton's reporting shows the tale is likely deeper than that, but one reader has a more important question.
What happened to this guy's forehead?
Dash Riprock writes:
whats that big red spot dent on the front of that ugly bald guys head in the picture above? is that skin cancer? or a ball peen hammer red mark left over from a biker rumble beating?
Since the tread print marks and the story itself apparently don't suffice, Hamilton explains:
As explained in the post, his mugshot shows a boot print on his forehead leftover from the brawl.
