Keeping track of all the ways in which Italian police and forensic scientists have botched the investigation into British student Meredith Kercher's death is difficult, because there are simply so many examples of negligence.
Fortunately, the folks at injusticeinperugia.org--easily the most comprehensive blog about the Kercher/Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito case--put together this handy video, taken from actual footage used in court.
Keep in mind that it's not only the makers of this video who have found major faults with the way investigators collected, stored, and analyzed evidence, it's also an independent panel of scientists appointed by the court who released an excoriating report essentially saying that a third grader could have collected evidence better than these clowns.
Knox's appeals hearing wraps up this week.
A verdict is expected by next week, if not sooner.
