Doug Hutchinson, 51-Year-Old Lost Actor, Marries 16-Year-Old Miss Teen Washington Participant Courtney Alexis Stodden

You'd be forgiven if the actor Doug Hutchinson's roles in shows like The X-Files ("Tooms"), The Green Mile ("Officer Percy Wetmore"), and Lost ("Horace") require a Google search to help you recall. He's not exactly an A-list actor.

He is, however, 51 years old. His new wife, Washington state's very own Courtney Alexis Stodden, is, let's just say, not that old.

She's 16.

Here's a bigger shot of their wedding portrait.

To put that in perspective, when Hutchinson was born, Ben-Hur won the Oscar for best picture, John F. Kennedy was campaigning for president, and The Andy Griffith Show premiered on CBS.

When Stodden was born, Toy Story was all the rage in theaters, Bill Clinton was busy achieving a budget surplus, and Crystal Pepsi had just been taken off the shelves.

Stodden was a participant in 2009's Donald Trump-sponsored Miss Teen Washington USA beauty pageant. She's currently an aspiring country-music singer (as in aspiring to make her first actual three-song demo CD). She's also likely thrilled to have finally been given her driver's license.

Stodden's personal website has been taken down. But see a cached version here.

In a statement to E! News, the newlyweds said:

"We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial. But we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."

We'll post the couple's prom pictures as soon they come out.

But for now, please enjoy one minute and 22 seconds of Miss (I mean Mrs.) Stodden singing on a beach.

Also courtesy of Courtney Stodden (and the interwebs), here's a look at the most ridiculous anti-bullying PSA we've ever seen recorded.
