Three teenagers have been arrested for allegedly shooting at cats in Battle Ground.
Mitchell S. Kangas, 16, Jaren M. Koistinen, 16, and Riley J. Munger, 17, made their first appearances in Clark County Superior Court this morning on suspicion of drive-by shooting.
In court documents, police said they believed the suspects had shot at 10 cats on Sunday night and about 50 cats over the past two months.
The three teens (who were named because they are being charged as adults) are students at Battle Ground High School and La Center High School. Apparently all three have admitting to shooting the cats, Kangas supposedly was the shooter, and the other two functioned as spotters.
