A couple weeks ago, we asked you if the Deadliest Catch tattoo was one of the most inappropriate tattoos to date. The debate is still raging here, but, as always, we got a little curious. Reality television has swept our nation since the early 2000s, and fans have become obsessed with shows trying to find the best singer, the toughest survivor, the best drag queen, and Flava Flav's new boo.
And with obsession comes the need for fans to permanently ink their bodies showing the world that they watch too much television. We did some investigating, and here's the proof for that.
Judge Judy Tattoo
We're sorry, but after getting that on your leg, more people than just Judge Judy are going to be critical of your tattoo. Don't get us wrong, we love justice just as much as the next Amuurican, but don't you think that's a little much? Case closed on this one.
Clay Aiken Tattoo
Anyone remember this second runner up on the second season of American Idol? Obviously someone did--at least enough so to ink Aiken's face on himself. We're all for having favorite musical artists, and maybe if it were someone iconic like Tupac or Michael Jackson or even Lady Gaga, we'd be ok with this one. Nevertheless, Aiken just doesn't size up against hard hitters like those, making this reality show tattoo pretty ridiculous.
Adam Lambert tattoo
American Idol gets a ton of attention all on its own without fans getting tattoos of their favorite contestants all over their bodies. Although Aiken was quite the shock, this one may take the cake. This fan from Toronto got Lambert's face tattooed on her right shoulder blade. Although it's not a traditional portrait, we do think the tattoo artist did a spot-on job portraying the swishy bangs and guy-liner perfectly.
MTV's Tool Academy Tattoo
Tyler Synon, dubbed the "Tat Tool" was one of the nominees for Tool Academy 2. For whatever reason, he decided to get the show's logo tattooed on his leg to forever remember his fifteen seconds of fame. It also helped police identify him after he was arrested for damaging a sign and a wall after hitting them out of anger after a confrontation in a bar in Arizona.
Jersey Shore Tattoo
Talk about inappropriate. We understand that there are inspirational figures on television that can have amazing impacts on our lives. So why not get HOUSE or Oprah? Maybe because those are too predictable. Nevertheless, getting a tattoo of Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's face on your leg definitely does not fit in the GTL schedule. Maybe on a t-shirt, but your body?
So, we ask you this: if you HAD to get a tattoo of either Judge Judy or Snooki on your leg, which reality star would be the lucky one?
