?With a service area "from Edmonds to Olympia," according to budtender Keith, Green World Medical can deliver marijuana to you no matter where you are in the Puget Sound area. But what if you live in darkest Kitsap County, on the west side of the Sound, you might ask? Not a problem--Green World delivers there, too. (Just know that if you live north of Shoreline or south of Tacoma, there'll be an extra charge ranging from $10 to $20, depending on the size of your order.)
Budtender/delivery guy Keith of Green World Medical helped me select appropriate strains of medical marijuana
Keith arrived at a north Queen Anne apartment with eight sativa-dominant strains of cannabis, along with five indicas, and enough knowledge to tell me about the various medical benefits and characteristics of each. The strains come at three price points: $10, $12, and $15 a gram. Full ounces go from $260 to $300.
I tried two of the top-shelf $15 strains (Blueberry Headband and Green Crack), two $12 strains (Master Kush and Trainwreck), and two $10 strains (Space Bomb and Green World's inhouse strain OhNo).
?Space Bomb was the first strain I sampled, and this uplifting, energetic sativa was a real pleasure. The Bomb's funky, resin-filled buds are chock full of sour fruitiness and psychoactive pain relief, and the strain is a real value at $10 a gram; two other patients who graciously volunteered their time and services in testing it heartily concurred on its effectiveness.

OhNo, an interesting 60 percent sativa/40 percent indica hybrid, has an acrid citrus smell and dense, tightly packed nugs. It quickly reveals itself to be another bargain at $10 a gram, with almost immediate pain relief and nausea control.
Master Kush is another strain with extremely dense nugs. This mostly indica strain has frosty, sticky buds with heavy trichome coverage and a musty, woody smell with hints of spice and very subtle lavender. Master Kush aids relaxation and soothes pain, but with an active head high which goes well with music or movies.
Trainwreck has high levels of both major cannabinoids, euphorically mood-lifting THC and pain-relieving, body-relaxing CBD, and is thus popular with recreational users as well as patients who are looking to control back and neck pain or muscular spasms. The slightly minty sage smell and taste of Trainwreck makes smoking it a pleasurable taste experience, which is a nice bonus.
Blueberry Headband, appropriately enough, is a cross of its two namesakes. Blueberry is a creation of famed cannabis breeder DJ Short, and Headband is a newer strain, having taken the California, Colorado, and Washington dispensaries by storm when it was introduced just a couple of years ago.
Put 'em together and you get Blueberry Headband, which has a tangy, musky smell and strongly earthy taste. The strain retains both the remarkable soaring head high of the Blueberry half of its heritage and the pain relief of the Headband half, so this cross can be considered a complete success.
That leaves the Green Crack. Oh, how I hate that strain name! Memorable, yes, but it's a spectacularly bad choice from a public relations angle. The intent of the unknown breeder who named it was to highlight the fact that this strain imparts energy, and it does that. This very potent, mostly sativa strain is also great at relieving stress and anxiety.
Almost all of the buds from Green World, with the notable exception of Space Bomb, were very closely trimmed, even a little beat-up looking. These girls have at least spent some time rolling around in a bag together, if they weren't actually kiefed, so don't expect the kind of pristine flowers you'd get if they had been consistently stored in rigid containers.
