When police officers showed up at an Auburn apartment earlier this week looking for an alleged 16-year-old Crip gang member and murderer named James A. Mills, they say they saw a thin woman with a long hair and sunglasses standing in the doorway.
It didn't take long before the wig and shades came off.
Underneath was Mills.
He was arrested him for the murder of 16-year-old Adrian Wilson.
The P-Ireports that the murder allegedly took place on Sunday during an outdoor barbecue where local Marvin Gangster Crips gang members and Norteños were intermingling--other reports say the Norteños held their barbecue outside Mills' girlfriend's mother's house, who had been dating Wilson Sr., but lately been being threatened by him.
At some point Wilson (Norteños) and Mills (Crips) supposedly got into an argument and Mills pulled out a handgun, firing a fatal shot into Wilson's chin.
At least two others were injured in the shooting.
Immediately afterward, police say Wilson's father Gabe Wilson--having witnessed his son's murder--grabbed the same handgun that had fallen onto the ground, ran with it into a common area of the nearby apartment complex and emptied the clip into the building.
Questioned by police, Gabe Wilson allegedly admitted to using the dropped gun to shoot up an apartment unit where those associated with Mills resided. Asked whether he intended to hit those inside the apartment, [Auburn Detective Michelle] Vojir said Gabe Wilson responded in the affirmative.
"They killed my (expletive) son!" he allegedly said. "What do you expect?"
It was the next day when officers say they came to Wilson Jr.'s mother's house and saw their young homicide suspect dressed in drag.
Both Mills and Wilson Sr. have supposedly admitted to their crimes. Mills apparently coughed out some generic ghetto slang about how he's wasn't going to get "punked" by Wilson Jr., so he shot him.
He's now being charged with second-degree murder as an adult.
Wilson Sr., who's supposedly a Norteño himself and has a previous felony drug conviction, was charged with first-degree assault and illegal possession of a weapon.
