Looking at his photograph at right, you'd never guess that Vitaliy Sulzhik was a fan of Monster Energy Drinks. But it's true! At least, it used to be true. That was until the Federal Way bro claims he found a goddamn dead mouse in the bottom of his can. Now he's a fan of suing Monster Energy Drinks, and so's his lawyer.
KING-5 reports that Sulzhik bought a can of Monster at a Fred Meyer just over a year ago. He slammed the can, but when he was done, things went horribly wrong.
"I put it down and I felt it was still heavy. So I backwashed it and all this debris went into my mouth," says the 19-year-old. "Then I looked in the can and I saw the tip of the tail and I vomited everywhere."
After sucking down the rodent, Sulzhik called a lawyer and they sent the can into MDE Inc, a Seattle-based forensics lab, which cut open the can and performed an X-ray and autopsy on the mouse, concluding that the mouse hadn't died before being shoved into the can or anything shady like that.
Sulzhik's laywer Reed Yurchak claims that Monster Energy Drinks knows the mouse is no hoax, but refuses to admit it.
The company, however, has dug up new video footage that may show Sulzhik and a friend disguised as Canadians and attempting a similar mouse-in-a-bottle trick in an attempt to acquire a 24-pack of Elsinore Beer.
