Redmond Man Tries to Kill Satan by Setting Hotel Room on Fire

There's a possibility that people are wrong and the 52-year-old man from Redmond who set his hotel room on fire in Lynnwood really did see Satan living in there and had to act to stop him. But even so, everybody knows that, duh, Satan loves fire.

As The Herald reports, the man--still unidentified--told police that he doused his blankets with lighter fluid and set them on fire at the Days Inn on 196th Street Southwest in Lynnwood because Satan was in there and he needed to save "the good people."

The fire damaged six rooms before it was put out.

A few hours earlier, the hotel owner had told the man that he had to move out. He'd been staying in the room for about a month and had repeatedly told employees that they were the "Anti-Christ" and "spawns of Satan."

Now the man is checked into the Snohomish County Jail, where we hear that the amenities and guest services are even more hellish.
