Libertarian columnist and Family Guy's Tom Tucker lookalike John Stossel had some choice words recently for all those ungrateful Native Americans who have been suckling at Uncle Sam's teat ever since, you know, Americans stole their land and raped their culture. He thinks "No group in America has been more helped by the government than the American Indians." Coeur d'Alene Tribe Chairman James Allan is none too pleased with that assumption. He's sent a letter demanding that Fox News President Roger Ailes force Stossel to apologize.
Here's the clip of Stossel's remarks on everyone's favorite morning pit of despair, Fox and Friends.
Allan's letter contends that "few words would be more misinformed and more offensive."
Something tells me that Mr. Allan is unlikely to hear back from Ailes or Stossel.
If it's apologies from media organizations that he wants, he's better off asking NPR.
