Travis Lipski, Pike Place Market Crowd Crasher, Is a Prophetic Stand-Up Comic

Information is trickling in on Travis Lipski, the 39-year-old driver who allegedly got high on "synthetic marijuana," then plowed his car into a crowd of Pike Place Market shoppers last Thursday, injuring three, one seriously. Turns out he's a stand-up comic. And if a YouTube video of his act is any judge, he's a somewhat prescient one.

There are a couple videos of Lipski doing his thing. The top-rated one features him delivering a long, sarcastic rant about how police officers "just care about you."

It's a decently funny act, delivered with a hateful spite that makes one believe that he's definitely had a few run-ins with the po-po.

Most notably is a part in which he lampoons police officers for handing out "freedom tickets" at road-side sobriety checkpoints--an interesting topic considering the crime he was charged with last week was driving under the influence (and later, vehicular assault) when he crashed his Subaru station wagon into the crowd of shoppers.

Lipski mocks: "Oh shit, you had more than three beers at the jukebox comedy club and blew a point oh nine. Well that's a freedom breaker right there, son. Now you're free to spread your freedom-ass open so the uber-Nazi sadistic freedom-cop can check to see if you got anything shoved up your asshole."
