Gary Locke, United States Secretary of Commerce, former Washington Governor and perhaps the most powerful Asian American in the country, was at the White House today answering questions on business innovation. The forum was hosted by Fast Company magazine and featured questions from random folks called in by phone and sent in on the internets.
For anyone that forgot, Locke left office in Washington State after his second term as governor, amid truckloads of death threats he received for his strong rebuttal of George W. Bush's 2003 State of the Union address (you know, the one where he told us about the WMDs he just knew he'd find in Iraq?)
Anyhow, Locke's been plugging away as commerce secretary since 2009. And seeing as commerce has been in a dive since late 2007, the questions he takes are pretty interesting.
So for fans of Locke or fans of selling stuff and/or making money, the video is worth a watch.
