Steve Jobs Is Using Bill Gates' Old Architect to Build His New House

Steve Jobs' new home is being designed and built by the same architecture firm behind Bill Gates' Medina mansion. The creator of the iPod's modest-for-a-billionaire, 5,000-square-foot California house is reportedly "efficient," "economical" and lacking in "garish bells and whistles." Meanwhile, Gates lives in an estate the size of Luxembourg, with rooms that automatically temperature-adjust based on who's inside of them. I wish I could use these two dissimilar dwellings to somehow draw a larger parallel between the vastly different tech companies founded by Jobs and Gates, but wouldn't you know it I'm just drawing a blank!
