This week's cover story ("Eat Your Oatmeal") is a profile of Matthew Inman, the Fremont-dwelling cartoonist behind wildly successful web comic The Oatmeal. Inman, who expects to make about a half-million dollars this year, skipped college. But as first-time Seattle Weekly contributor Abe Aboraya writes, he has an "English professor's fastidiousness about language." So in honor of National Punctuation Day (yes, such a thing exists and yes, it is today), take a couple of minutes to read about Inman. Then reacquaint yourself with his most popular grammar-based toon, a user's guide to "the most feared punctuation on Earth," the semicolon.
