In this week's cover story "Dog Beat Dog," Riverfront Times staff writer (and former Seattle Weekly intern) Keegan Hamilton chronicles the work of investigators who went deep undercover to pull off the biggest pit bull dogfighting bust in U.S. history. Two Missouri Highway Patrol detectives assembled and trained a kennel of 40 pit bulls in an unprecedented effort to gain access into the secretive world. And one time, they brought hidden cameras along with them.
