The introduction of an operating system is the kind of anniversary that you'd assume would only be celebrated by hard-core geeks. But considering how many houses were built, roads paved and schools funded locally by the success of Microsoft's Windows 95 -- launched 15 years ago yesterday - it's actually (assume Ron Burgundy voice) a pretty big deal.
