I know I don't often cover fashion, but sometimes I see something so awesome I'm overwhelmed and need to share. My boyfriend is a May baby, so don't I wish I'd seen this option from Shortomatic back at the beginning of the summer. You can customize a pair of board shorts with the photo of your choice. Boobies, a tasteful nude--as long as your image isn't kiddie porn or copyrighted, the world is your oyster. I chose one of my fave self-portraits--my rejected author shot. (My publisher went with something more tasteful--go figure.)
The big guy was so excited when I showed him my design, he told me if I bought them, he'd wear them to his mother's house. WTF?! Like I'd want his mom to see my beej face?!
I don't think so. After six years together, she's only recently started using my name instead of referring to me as "the girl." I don't need another setback. But wouldn't they be cute on the beach? If you want to make your own, they're $99, plus shipping and take about three weeks to make. (Though sorry, they won't be as cute without my photo on them.)
