Josh Powell, Chief Suspect in Wife Susan Powell's Disappearance, Writes a Mother's Day Card

Susan Powell, a mother of two young boys, went missing last December.
Susan Powell is the Salt Lake City stockbroker who went missing last December. Josh Powell is her husband and the man many believe may be responsible for her mysterious disappearance.

To recap: the same night Susan vanished, Josh took a camping trip on a freezing cold night in a part of Utah their two young sons say they'd never been before. Then, instead of answering questions like an innocent person desperate to find his wife would, Josh told the cops he'd be lawyering up.

Since then, Josh has moved his family to Washington where he's continued to act the part of a guy looking for the wife who intentionally ditched her family. A move which has thoroughly pissed off Susan's parents, considering he's the prime suspect in their daughter's murder investigation.

Josh Powell continues to act as if his wife voluntarily left him and their kids.
Taking this absurdity to a new height, Josh created a website, SusanPowell.org, that goes out of its way to try to make Josh look like an All-American Dad. (Creepy sample paragraph: "Josh is a loving father and husband. He likes to take his wife out to dinner or watch movies with her. He regularly does activities with his beautiful wife and with his entire family. Josh is totally committed to his wife and children, continually finding new and engaging activities to do with them.")

In his latest entry, Josh decided it would be a good idea to write Susan a Mother's Day note:

Happy Mother's Day Susan. You are the beloved mother of two beautiful boys, who remember you and miss you. We all hope you will come home soon.

The boys love plants and gardening just like you so they planted flowers for your honor on Mother's Day. Everyone in the household participated in various ways to make the day special. They enjoyed a special dinner and a cake. They also looked at family photos like they do almost every day.

We hope you like the pictures, and are thinking about us as much as we are thinking about you.

That ought to get the cops to stop looking.
