It wasn't only Charles Wilson of Yakima County suggesting Sen. Patty Murray is better off dead for trying to keep people alive, Rachael Maddow reminds us. There was that grammatically challenged Tea Party leader over in Asotin County who was irate about Murray's health care-reform support as well. Referring to the movie Lonesome Dove, the happy TPer asked "What happened to Jake when he ran with the wrong crowd?...He got hung [hanged]. And that's what I want to do with Patty Murray." But Murray (and to a lesser extent, Sen. Maria Cantwell, who the gun-toting Wilson also called), got off easy compared to the repeated threats made to Georgia Rep. John Lewis, as you'll see above. Meanwhile, Virginia's attorney general, one of the AGs-in-arms with Washington AG Rob McKenna challenging the new health care legislation, will appear at an upcoming Second Amendment rally. Is there a message there? Couldn't be clearer: Can't beat 'em, can shoot 'em.
