Tony Fein was a linebacker from the University of Mississippi who was recently cut by the Baltimore Ravens. He was also an Iraq War vet who played his high school ball at South Kitsap High. And this morning, Fein was found dead at 27 in a friend's house near Port Orchard.
"There were no obvious wounds or signs of alcohol or other drug abuse, and nothing indicated foul play," according to the AP, which adds that authorities are currently classifying the death as "unusual" and "an accidental situation." An investigation, however, could stand to change that diagnosis. Fein was recently charged with assaulting a police officer at a Baltimore restaurant, although authorities recently indicated to his attorney that the case would be dismissed before going to trial.
