After ten months of intensive blogging here at Seattle Weekly, I'm moving on to other pastures. Thanks to all who read and commented. It's been fun.
My replacement will be one Caleb Hannan, recently arrived from Nashville, where he put together an impressive body of work. He's a terrific writer--you'll like him.
As for my writing, it might pop up from time to time on my own once-active blog and/or on various legal motions, if you're into the whole public records thing.
I leave you with the famous scene from Half-Baked in which Scarface quits his job. I choose this scene not because I share his resentment--I enjoyed my time here and am grateful to colleagues and readers alike--but because it makes me laugh. This line cook has thrown his last burger. I'm out!
