Below is a comment from a rider on the Bremerton Ferry Advisory Committee email group, responding to WSF's comments that they haven't heard many complaints during today's service interruptions:
SERIOUSLY???????? What the heck is the point of complaining? We complained, a lot of us, while standing in line the beginning of August when they yanked a boat away from us. Sue Harris' comment paraphrased: Tough. Bainbridge has more riders, so they get the boat. REALLY???? I really don't care if Bainbridge has more riders, they and Kingston have the shortest runs. Bainbridge and Kingston can suck it up and use one boat. WSF surely expects Bremerton riders to suck it up because apparently the people on the Bremerton boats do not have a life, don't have places to be at certain times.
We HAVE complained, to no avail. Bremerton still gets the shaft and WSF turns a deaf ear. Now and for the last 25 years!!!!
UPDATE: Classic comment by a reader on a story today on KitsapSun.com:
Well let's ensure this myth of no complaints does not propagate. EVERYONE was complaining this morning. We also understand that the WSF just do not listen.
This is all BS. Pull a boat from Clinton run or let BI be with one boat. Now we can only get across every two hours. Give me a break.
