Where Do Old Boeing Jets Go?

I wonder what I'll be in my next life
Why they become luxury homes and hotels, of course. Or so the P-I's Aerospace blog has discovered. Last week, they reported on the Boeing 727 "fuselage suite" in Hotel Costa Verde in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.

Today's find is a 727 private residence with a cockpit hot tub that looks like something out of The Ladies Man. In a 727! It's like you don't know whether to order peanuts and ginger ale or caviar and Courvoisieur. Next up for Lonely Island: I'm on a converted 727.

Retired Boeing jets also make good restaurants and boats. And damn, that Howard Hughes knew how to roll.
