In sentencing Snohomish County resident Jerry Berkey to seven years in prison and five years of supervised release for growing--that's more time than most violent offenses fetch--she used the aforementioned language to describe the giggle- and munchie-inducing drug with medicinal qualities and no known lethal dose. She also said, "You haven't earned a decent living legally in years. What did you tell your kids when you came home, 'Daddy's had a tough day at the grow?'"
