SW Videographer's Sonics Opus Gets TV Coverage

One year later, most of Seattle has moved on, just like the Sonics did. But a few die-hards keep the flame. Among them is videographer Jason Reid. He's already made countless videos about the Sonics and their move for SW. There was the Mike Jones-set fitness clinic at North Beach Elementary. The NBA Amazing commercials about the team's move. The rally footage. The trailer for the shoulda-been-made Major League sequel starring Bill Cosby and Michael Cera as the '07-08 Sonics team. The Abba-set rally footage. The Billy Joel-set trip to New York to visit David Stern. And countless others.

But Reid's Sonics cinematography will reach its apotheosis this fall, with the release of his long-awaited documentary. Reid and his crew have interviews with everyone from Bennett lawyer (and SW Best of subject Brad Keller) to city officials to countless current and former ballers, such as Jamal Crawford, Doug Christie, and Sam "Big Smooth" Perkins. The final product will be released on the Internet for free viewing on October 12th. KING-5 caught wind of the project and released this segment, starring the auteur himself. A friend thinks Reid has hair like Meg Ryan, what do you think?
