If it seems like Boeing's beleaguered Flatliner Dreamliner is never going to take its first flight, that's because it never takes its first flight when it's supposed to. (It has, however, proven capable of some awesome rollouts, including one narrated by Tom Brokaw.) Today, we learn that it may not fly this year--the result of a more-complicated-than-previously-thought flaw in the wing attachment. Wing attachment flaws on Boeing planes are nothing new, as evidenced by this old Almost Live! sketch.

Fear not, though, short-term investors. While the Dreamliner struggles to fly, Boeing's profits are up 17%. And, thus, fear not, Boeing employees fearing, wait, nevermind.
