Seattle People Q&A: Noel the Freak on Frat Guys, His Children, and His Tattoos"/>
Interview conducted by Jenny Jimenez:
Jenny Jimenez This week's Seattle People slideshow features Noel the Freak, who you may recognize from the Pure Cirkus Roadshow or America's Got Talent. During the day he's a commercial painter, but at night he's known for lifting car batteries and concrete blocks with his eye sockets and smashing plates over his private parts with a hammer.
On his America's Got Talent fame: "Sharon Osborne called me boring and gay so I told her off. It was much longer... they heavily edited it for television but they still put me in the opening of the show. Every episode has me in the beginning."
On his lifestyle: "I don't smoke, I don't drink, and I'm a single father to three kids."
On his children following in his footsteps: "I wouldn't mind. It's awesome to be able to expose them to a different way of living."
On being a freak: "I see frat guys walking around all looking the same. Same shorts, same shoes, same hats.. and they think I'm the freak?!"
On his chosen tattoos: "I have a tattoo of a dead seahorse. Male seahorses give birth and take care of their kids. I can relate. I think they're cool."
You can see Noel in action when the Pure Cirkus Roadshow stops by Heavens Nightclub on November 25th.
