As Art Thiel notes, he's dominant when healthy. But it's the "when" there that's the issue, and even when he is healthy, watching Bedard get lifted before the 7th inning in most of his starts is tantamount to watching a shiny, gas-guzzling semi cruise down the interstate with the governor set at 65 mph. Both can only go so far, so fast.
