Finally, the Rashard Lewis We All Knew and Didn't Love Reveals Himself

Former Sonic Rashard Lewis has been playing out of his shoes all playoffs long for the Orlando Magic, knocking down huge late-game shots and displaying an all-around game that has left many a Supe fan wondering where that was when he was here. But last night, Sonic fans who remember Lewis' ability to disappear for entire games must have felt like they'd finally awoken from some bizarrely cruel dream.

In the biggest game of his career, a must-win Finals Game 4 at home against the Lakers, Lewis was nowhere to be found, compounding a mirage-like six-point (2-10 shooting) performance by bricking a wide-open 15-footer late in the game that would have sealed victory to the Magic (although Jameer Nelson, whose inane fourth-quarter defense on Derek Fisher defies sane explanation, was the ultimate anti-Magician). For this, ESPN's Bill Simmons questions whether 'Shard played last night's game in a coma.
