If you watched the NBA Draft Lottery last night, you saw the team formerly known as the Sonics luck their way into being one of the three finalists for the top pick. (That top pick is likely to be Oklahoma's Blake Griffin, who'd be the franchise's first fearsome four since Shawn Kemp).
Fortunately, though, when the commercial break ended, the ex-Supes got the third pick. The franchise has never had the first pick in the draft; it'd suck if they got one in their first draft as an Oklahoma team. The wounds of Sonics fans don't need any more salt.
