Not only is Friday Bike to Work Day, Bike to School Day, and the Ballard Summer Streets Festival, it's also the first ever Seattle "Kidical Mass". It's like Critical Mass only in name, as it's "a fun, safe, easy-going, and generally law-abiding family bike ride for kids of all ages. It started last year in Eugene, Oregon, and has since spread to other bikey burgs, like Seattle!"
But event's title is doesn't mark the end of the punniness, which the sponsors, like the writers of Shrek, enjoy taking into subtly adult territory. "We hope to educate bike-curious parents about ways to bicycle with children, help kids learn to ride safely in the city, and increase the visibility of family biking on Seattle streets."
