Next up: Carlos Silva
In George F. Will's famous baseball book, Men at Work, former catcher Rick Dempsey recalls a game in which Hall of Fame pitcher Jim Palmer "never threw anything but fastballs" and won 5-1.

Last night, Dave Cameron notes, four Mariner pitchers--Carlos Silva, David Aardsma, Roy Corcoran, and Brandon Morrow--came close to Palmer's feat, with over 90% of their pitches in the team's 3-2 victory being fastballs. Next Palmer pitch for the foursome to follow: underwear. Jim became famous for hawking Jockey; perhaps the slimmed-down Carlos can, too.
